HURRICANE WATCH
Well not much happened but some cool things happened throughout the week so I hope yall enjoy
First big thing on the list is that we had a WILD storm come in. Not as bad as the one from when I first got here but it was pretty dang close. Trees getting knocked over and lots of roads flooded. The thing is with this one is it was over a larger area so president actually had us stay where we were until the rain stopped and we could drive home safe. So we got locked into a members home and watched a movie. I wasn't super keen on the idea but we were already there for 3 hours with about 3 more to go. So I folded and we watched a movie called Damsel. Its got Milly Bobby Brown and its good I guess you can say but the plot was pretty predictable. The storm isn't done tho. As I'm writing we are still on hurricane watch. Weve got about 30 hours left until were clear. If this turns into a hurricane tho we are gonna have to evacuate to Laredo. v(￣ー￣)v
Number 2 on the short list is that we just had transfers and I am now on transfer 11, around ⅔ of the way done with my mission. I am still in the same spot. Thank goodness because if I had to pack again I would have destroyed the entire apartment and blown up the entire city of Sinton. But I didnt so they're safe for now. I'm still with Elder Allred and our district stayed pretty much the same except we got someone I was with when I lived in Weslaco as our district leader. It is now the most hype District ever. This is also Allred's last transfer so I'm going to BEG president to let me train. That is my goal now. Ive grown my testimony, I've baptized nations, now I just need to train. I don't really care about going leadership but I need to keep my bloodline going. I CANT DIE. So if I need to get on my knees and beg I will.
Yeah that's P much it. We've got 4 baptisms cooking and they're VERY promising. Not just for being baptized but for retention as well. After this as well I will have 21 'tisms under my belt. But we just gotta see.
