Oorah!

   Starting off with a strong topic, our friend, Roxana, was baptized and confirmed! Very awesome kid with some amazing potential. Baptism #21. The service went smoothly and she brought her family to the baptism and for her confirmation even MORE of her family came. So we might have hit a gold mine when it comes to teaching!

    So remember a loooong time ago when I wanted to get a lot of ties? Yeah well that grind is back. My comp actually knows where the good spots are to dig for ties and the expensive ones as well, Gucci, Louis, Valentino, Armani, Hermes and Ricci. Those are just few of the thousands of dollars of ties. Ive heard of people selling their mission ties when they get home and it pays for their wedding or their car. Expect big things in next email.

   I LOVE our truck. I have been taking that thing through dirt, mud, rocks and wherever google maps lets me go. But on Saturday... I almost met my limit. I backed up to get out of the way of traffic flying up from behind me and backed up too far. Into a concrete irrigation channel about 4 feet wide and 3 feet deep. I got the back right tire stuck into it and truck leaned back now only on three tires... daggum. Im stuck. I got super mega scared and don't remember if I said a swear word or not but I try 4HI and it didnt work. MF. If I have to call pres and say I got the brand new tacoma stuck in a ditch he's gonna be pissed. One last attempt. No longer caring about the grass or anything else, I put the car in 4LO which wouldnt engage because I was stationary. But I turn my tires and hit the gas. I spin and rip up grass and dirt. Then I get traction! Shot out of the ditch and then almost into the 20 ft river infront of us. As you can imagine we drove 10 under for the rest of the day.

   I feel like I still have an eternity left in the field, but, I have less than 5 months. Dude. I JUST hit my year mark... I go home in february. Uh oh.

   God really has a way of putting everything in front of you. You just gotta look for it. He also has the awesome ability of meeting you in the middle. Everytime. So this transfer we slipped up a little I'll be honest. We have been staying inside for a few extra minutes and we get distracted a little quicker. But God still has a way of leaving things in front of you, just far enough to make you jump outside of your knowledge and understanding. But still close enough to see the chance every time. God knows you personally. And wants you to come home, but no unclean thing can enter into his presence so he leave little breadcrumbs for you to follow to lead out of the forest. His love is perfect
